Q: What are the main features and functions of AllSearch Spider for Windows?

AllSearch Spider for Windows will automatically submit your site, or your customer's site, to over 400 major search engines and directories (standard version has 250 engines). Simply fill in a few pieces of information about your site or page, click on the services you wish to publicize it with, and the process begins. Right from your desktop, across your existing dialup connection, AllSearch Spider will systematically submit all of your information to all of the services you selected. 

The Dynamic Site Optimization (DSO) option helps you maximize visibility to ALL Web Crawlers, Spiders, and Worms.

Our Complete Results Reporting System instantly tells your where and when your site is accepted by major Search Engines.

Multiple Indexing Support dynamically creates 'mirrors', or alternate paths to your site, and then re-submits this information to each directory on your list, ensuring maximum exposure in all search engines and directories.

AllSearch Spider for Windows also generates automatic site visibility reports from major directories, telling you exactly how hard it is to find your site on each service.

Q: How many sites can I submit?

A: You can create a custom profile for each site, client or different section of your site and submit them in batch with the Professional version. Or each one individually with the standard.

Q: How often should I submit?

A: Most sites will "allow" re-submitting every week or so, we recommend you resubmit to all engines every 2-4 weeks. If your content changes a lot you should submit to the Search Engines very frequently (note: some engines are faster than other). Then about every 3-4 months you should submit to ALL sites, by unchecking the "Do not repeat already Successful Registration", do this with the knowledge that some will fail because they are already "in the loop".

Q: How long will it take for the Search Engines to register my site?

A: Each search engine is different, some have a lot of traffic and others are very slow. The general rule of thumb I use is: 1) Alta Vista is usually about a one day turnaround, 2) Yahoo, Excite, Infoseek about a one week turnaround and 3) the rest about 2-3 weeks. Please note that most of the sites listed are linked lists and those are usually available immediately.

Note: all search engines have "webbots" that will automatically search out and find links within your submitted page and will then index those.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: AllSearch Spider for Windows is a complete Internet marketing solution and comparable to similar programs selling for $395 and up. We are making this exciting new program available to the public for only $49.95 and the Professional version is $99.90

Q: Why are there some many failures while submitting?

A: Many sites constantly re-evaluate how they receive submissions and we are constantly updating our software accordingly. We are currently processing about 10-20 corrections every 10-14 days, thus the importance of upgrading your software. Once you have installed your upgrade, just re-run your site by selecting the "Not Registered" under the Queue tab and then re-running the promotion. For the professional version you should see several new sites and several corrected sites. You should do this each time you upgrade your software.

Q: What about upgrades?

A: We are currently issuing upgrades bimonthly, and each update expands our directory list and adds additional marketing features. Registered users may obtain these upgrades at no cost for up to one full year.
