But the fact is, just like the calculator gave way to the computer, old fashioned ways of doing things will grudgingly cave in to the new opportunities on the Internet. New, easier and faster ways of harnessing this new electronic high technology will most assuredly evolve and serve us all.
Therefore, we must be right up front when it does. We simply cannot stand idly by and try toplay "catch up" while others enjoy and profit from its opportunities. Patience indeed is the key word. Bubba was working at the local gas
station. A lady
drove up and asked him, "Do you have a rest room?"
Bubba thought she said, "Do you have a whisk broom,"
and told her, "No, but if you will back it up here, I'll
blow it out for you!"

These two men argued about which would take the
only taxi in sight. Suddenly one returned tohis wife
at the curb. "Why did you let him have the cab?" she
asked. "He needed it more than I did, " replied the
husband weakly. "He was late for his karate lesson!"

Rupert wrote this mailorder house requesting they
mail him "the engine" on page 28, adding "if it's
any
good, I'll send you a check."
A week later he received this reply: "Please send
check. It it's any good, we'll mail the engine."

Rupert's checkbook was hopeless so he phoned
the bank for help. "What balance do you show?"
asked the bank representative.
Came Rupert's barely audible reply, "I asked you
first!"

Rupert was at the airport recently. He became
alarmed when an announcement came over the public
address system "Attention, please! Will all passengers
who have not done so, please do so immediately!"

Rupert met this man at a ball game. He asked the man
what line of work he was in.
The man replied: "I work for the Internal Revenue Service."
Rupert: "Doesn't everybody?"

Rupert asked Doofus how he got that black eye. Doofus
replied: "Well, there was a sign over the door of a
building I was entering and since I'm nearsighted, I
stood closer to read it."
"And what did it say?"
"Caution the door swings out."

Rupert was telling Billy Paul, "I never knew what real
happiness was until I got married."
Billy Paul: "Ah, yes I used to be happy too!"

Rupert is an avid baseball fan. He went to his first
horse race placing a bet on the long shot. His horse
came down the stretch neck and neck with the
favorite. Rupert suddenly jumped up yelling loudly:
"Slide you bum, slide!"

Rupert checked Doofus' report card and said:
Doofus, I just don't understand it. How is it you
continue to make these absolutely disgraceful
grades?"
Doofus: "I guess I just inherited it!"
